Oakleaf Frangipani

Our Oak leaf Frangipani has flowered.  It is a relative of the common frangipani, and the flowers are very similar, except the oak leaf flowers have no perfume unlike frangipani which have varied beautiful scents.

These flowers are a luminous white and absolutely beautiful.  We grow it in a large pot, as it is extremely susceptible to root rot if the soil gets too damp.

and here is the old catatonic triangle palm, giving it a belting with a stick a few months ago has done it the world of good.  It is now throwing out fresh fronds constantly.  Just as well, I say!!

sounds a bit drastic to hit your plants with a stick...but it seems to have worked lol x
